Prevention of Diabetes-Diabetes Insipidus is a disorder
where there is a shortage of antidiuretik hormone that causes excessive thirst
(polidipsi) and spending a large amount of water a very dilute urine (Polaris).
Diabetes insipidus results from a decrease in the formation of antidiuretik
hormone (vasopressin) which is a hormone that is naturally prevented the
formation of urinary water too much.

This hormone is unique, because it is made in the
hypothalamus and then stored and released into the bloodstream by the posterior
hypotheses. Diabetes insipidus can also occur if the antidiuretik normal
hormone levels, but the kidneys don't give normal response against this hormone
(this situation is called diabetes insipidus nefrogenik).
SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES INSIPIDUS
1. Constant Thirst
You may feel hungry constantly and noticeably drier
that is always experienced, no matter how much water you drink.
2. It is hard to sleep and carry out daily activities
If you feel you want to urinate often and always feel
thirsty, sleep patterns and daily activity can be disrupted. This can lead to
fatigue, quick temper and difficulty concentrating, which can affect your daily
life.
3. Generally feel unwell
If you have diabetes insipidus, you may feel less
healthy for no apparent reason.
SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES INSIPIDUS IN CHILDREN
In children who are very young who cannot yet speak, it
may be difficult for you to realize that they are thirsty. Signs and symptoms
that may indicate diabetes insipidus is included:
- Excessive Crying
- Nature of irritability
- Slower Growth expected
- High body temperature (hyperthermia)
- Weight loss unexplained
PREVENTION OF DIABETES INSIPIDUS
Here are simple ways that we can do for the prevention
of diabetes, namely:
1. Check the health of our body
Prevention of diabetes by conducting a medical
examination. Everyone aged above 45 years of age must have a regular schedule
the examination of blood sugar levels every 3 years. However, if one includes
groups with high risk factors, routine inspection should begin at early age.
2. Changing our diet
Prevention of diabetes with a healthy diet. Change our
eating patterns became more healthy eating patterns, expand vegetable and fruit
consume rich in fiber. Subtract eats instant foods, fast that many contain
chemicals and preservatives.
3. Expand the activities (sports)

important to the prevention of diabetes. Lack of sleep can increase hormone
cortisol in the body, which can increase levels of insulin and blood sugar
imbalances cause.
